He is rather passive, though seemingly intimidating to be around, but he has a kind heart and opts to treating everyone equally. He is poor at detecting sarcasm and will respond to everything quite literally and terrible at answering jokes.

Also calm and reserved, Artemis keeps to himself quite often. He has never been one to particularly raise his voice, but he is stern and straightforward. Though normally docile, it's possible for him to reveal a fiercer side.

Artemis is the only child of the D'este family. Inevitably, all responsibilities and expectations were cast in his direction since he was a child. His parents pressured him to excel in many areas such as academics, battle, etc. They insisted that this was for his own good, that he needed to do as such to secure his future and place in society, so he must suffer now in order to flourish later. They could not help but hover over him, quietly controlling him from the background. With his docile nature, it was not difficult for him to fit into the mold his family cast for him, becoming a prodigy. He became an ace as a result from his ability to learn quickly. He eventually became betrothed to Selene.

Surprisingly, he did not end up dependent on others, as expected because of his upbringing, but he has found confusion in deciding on some things, such as social skills and trivial matters. His character has become blurred, as he cannot really tell what is really himself and the other self that others have created for him. Artemis is sometimes vague and cannot figure out what it is he truly wants.
